“In class we have been focusing Costa’s levels of questioning.  Costa’s levels of questioning involving level 1[literal] level 2[inferential] level 3 [evulative]

Level one is like a question that is a yes or  no answer. A level two is a question thats building infomation. Level three is a question that you have built your own opinion that’s also has been built from the gathering of infomation.

The name is so fab!!!!!!:B So this post is about maths that can FlY!!!!   We have been working on paper planes, bottle rockets , paper helicopters etc. We have been using meters, feet and angles. Below is a graph of my throws of my paper planes or my explosive projectiles.  The unknown plane worked the best because it went the furthest. The plane that failed was the eagle because it had very little distance when u through it. I didn’t make any alteration and i didn’t need it . I learnt that bottles can go BOOM, how far my unknown was quite im impressed for such a simple like plane. Even a simple thing can be the best.

I pad towards the fire pit. The fire illuminates the darkness . My ears then twitch. I hear a soft crunch of leaves. I slowly turn around my tail sticking up. The Twoleg looms over, fear floods me and I sprint for my life. The Twoleg wields a weird object and aims it at me. Its shiny black surface shines from the fire. The Twoleg  pulls back  the object. It suddenly makes a massive BOOOOOOOOM and a tiny metal shell glides faster than any wind clan cat and I sprint  the metal shell whizzes past .The twoleg pulls it back again. It makes another boom but this time releases fire. It lights the trees on fire and fire devours the forest slowly. I run to  camp with lots of cats roaming around it.

`FIRE I YOWL ‘at the top of my lungs

Cats starting scrambling to their dens and getting their kits or warning their friends. I explode into the camp.

` FIRE ‘ I yowl again

` Everyone Get to the lake NOW’ the deputy Stoneheart Yowls

The cats start running to the lake. The path to the lake is full off cats.

` WHERE IS MY KIT’ Leafa yowls

A blood red cat who goes by the name wildfire goes to Leafa and ushers her. He mews something quietly to Leafa then bounds off into the forest.

`Starclan please save us’ I murmur.

I hear a Twoleg screeching at the Twoleg who caused this. The Twoleg screeching gets a long floppy device and water explodes out of it causing the fire to subside.

The trees have withered away. All the animals have fled. Our clan cats have inhaled quite a bit of smoke. This will show us weak…… The onyx clan are strong .up. This is Thunderclans weakest moment of its age. I slowly get up and start coughing. I start groaning because my paws feel like an ant slowly being pulled apart. The fire has dissipated. The smoke covers the snow white clouds. I stretch  my body and curl up again. I feel a tail rub onto my flank. I lift my head up slowly.

`Morning Bluepaw’ Wildfire says

`What did you say to Leafa’ I ask

` Nothing ‘he sighs

He then pads off, his tail drooping down.

A cat comes scrambling from the patrol all scratched and battered up. Her pelt all ruffled up. Stoneheart goes to fusepelt.

` There comin’ Fusepelt yowls

` what is’ he questions

The onxy’ she murmurs

` The onxy what’ he says trying to stay calm

` THE ONXY CLAN HAS FOUND A WAY INTO STARCLAN AND GOT THEM IN CAPTIVITY’ she goes on

All of the states had its own part of the alliance. Every part of Australia has its own story. The mother colony had its own convicts. Tasmania had the most known convict history of Australia. There were the good and the bad about having a alliance. W.A was really isolated.  In the early 1800’s  the siblings fought about who was the best but in the end non was better. They are equal in their own ways. Queensland had lots of free settlers from all over the globe.

The fives and sixes have been working on making solar boats. Solar boats are boats that have solar panels [photo voltaic cells] to power up the motor and the motor powers the propeller. We had time travels which is you put your boat in the water  and they time how long it takes to get to the end being timed. Our group[ H2-go] had got the fastest  boat and we beat second place by a hundredth of a second Our time was 8.27 seconds and second place was Rapididy Waves 8.28 seconds. At school we had the finals of the amazing race and there was 1st, 2nd and 3rd places on the chart and we came 3rd! I’m pretty happy we at least got 3rd. So this post is about the habits of the minds we used during the amazing race. 5A and 5C joined rooms to have the groups get together to talk about how much we used the habits of the minds  for the amazing race. The two most used habits of the minds were persistence and working interdependently and the least used was striving for accuracy. This is the link to the pie chart I had made.Pie chart
